As for the cosplay, its fantastic.
I'm super cheap so I do all my cosplays for under $100. The trick is to plan far ahead of time, and take frequent trips to your local fabric, craft and thrift stores in that time. The base is a longsleeve black shirt and black sweatpants. I took the pants in so that they were skin tight, and then almost everything else is just vinyl (black and red) that I sewed on overtop. It's a good idea to look for a soft/slightly stretchy vinyl when making things like full shirts out of it, because otherwise you need a LOT of darts and a good rule is "less darts == looks better". I used a stiff/non-stretchy vinyl for the red parts on the boots, however, because it had no need to stretch and so using a stronger vinyl was a good idea.
I couldn't actually find a thin/stretchy red vinyl in my local fabric store, so I ended up buying a red vinyl jacket at a thrift store and choppin it up for parts.
Oh also, to make skin-tight costumes a lot easier, it helps to make a "duct tape dummy" (google that) and make a few mockups. Then I draw all over them with sharpie and cut them out for patterns.
All the metal rivets are split-pins (also called "brads") from a craft store.
And I think that's about it! Let me know if I missed anything!
